Feàrna is a Kansas City-based Celtic trio playing traditional Scottish and Irish folk music, as well as original songs with a period flair. Sometimes they can be persuaded to play English stuff, too. They don't look particularly ancient and venerable, but between them, they've racked up seventy-five years of musical experience! Feàrna's local musical debut was at last year's Festival of the Dragon in Osowatomie, which donated its proceeds to flood relief in the area. They've also been asked to play at various local private events. Feàrna is Collene, violin and tambourine; Jennifer, six- and twelve-string guitar, banjo, a little mountain dulcimer, and vocals; and Lizzy, flute, tin whistle, other tootle-y things, percussion, and vocals.
We are for hire in the Kansas City area and beyond (but not too far).
I hope to have some video and music on the site shortly.
